Palm Lutheran Church 11 West Cherry Street Palmyra, PA 17078
Palm Lutheran Church has a long tradition of hosting an Easter Egg Hunt the day before Easter Sunday. Early Saturday morning the Easter Bunny arrives and, with the help of the youth, the eggs are hidden around the church property.
To open the Easter Egg Hunt, the Easter Story is told to the children. There are stations at which the children can make and decorate various Easter symbols such as a paper egg, crosses, butterflies or lilies. Each age group has a different time for their hunt so that parents and grandparents can be part of each child's event. Of course, what would an event be without light refreshments?
The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 31 - outdoors in good weather, indoors for rainy weather. The Easter Bunny and youth should be at the church at 9:00 AM to hide the eggs.
There is no need to register. Anyone is welcome to attend.
